Sheldon Wiseman Commercial Real Estate was co founded by Steven Sheldon and Jim Wiseman. The formation of the company was the result of numerous years of cultivating relationships with clients and brokers throughout Northern California and the United States with a primary focus on Santa Cruz County. Our high level of dedication to our clients and fairness to other real estate professionals has earned us the respect that enables us to aggressively service the needs of our clients while maintaining relationships with other brokers that encourages cooperation.
Sheldon Wiseman Commercial Real Estate is a departure from the “old school” of commercial real estate. We capitalize on our experience, education, and technical expertise to assist our clients in every aspect of a real estate transaction. We feel that brokerage is much more than being the “procuring cause” of a transaction in order to earn a commission, as is the prevailing sentiment in most commercial real estate firms today. Instead, we pride ourselves in being able to assist our clients in the multitude of decisions that have to be made as a part of the commercial real estate process. This involves not only the acquisition or disposition of a property or the leasing of a property. It also extends throughout the ownership of the asset or the term of the lease.  Steven Sheldon is a principal in Sheldon Wiseman Commercial Real Estate. Steve has eighteen years of commercial real estate brokerage experience and has exceptional market knowledge. Steve has formed strong relationships that translate into negotiating leverage on behalf of his clients. Prior to founding Sheldon Wiseman Commercial Real Estate Steve was a managing partner with BT Commercial, consistently being a top producer with the firm.

 Jim Wiseman is a principal in Sheldon Wiseman Commercial Real Estate. He has been active in all aspects of commercial real estate since 1991 -- with an emphasis on sales and leasing in Santa Cruz County and the Silicon Valley. Prior to founding Sheldon Wiseman Commercial, Jim was the Managing Partner of the Soquel office of BT Commercial. In 2002, Jim earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member Designation (CCIM). The CCIM education program is the most comprehensive educational resource in the commercial real estate industry. His expertise is in Landlord and Tenant representation as well as Investment Sales in all types of commercial property.

Before becoming an attorney, he maintained a successful track record performing business to business sales with a hallmark of providing responsive, candid service. A native of nearby San Jose, Dan has resided full time in Santa Cruz County for several years and puts a wealth of experience, training and advocacy skills to work for his clients.
